VIRGINIA BEACH — Mary Hudgins Godfrey, 77, of 283 Mayo Road, a native of Virginia 
Beach and the widow of Arthur M. Godfrey Sr., died Wednesday in a nursing home.
Mrs. Godfrey is survived by a son, Arthur M. Godfrey Jr., a stepson, Lannie B. 
Woolford, a sister, Margaret Eady, a granddaughter, Vickie Hatten, and a great-
granddaughter, Tina Willis, all of Virginia Beach.
Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders 
Association, P.O. Box 2794, Norfolk 23501.
