Virginian-Pilot October 4, 1960
NORFOLK - Mrs. Isabel Pennington Larmour Godwin, died Monday at 11:15 a.m. at 
her home, 825 Graydon Ave., after a long illness. The widow of William Ashby 
Godwin and a daughter of Samuel and Harriett Sharpe Larmour, she was born in 
Carigh Fergus (sic), Ireland, and had resided in Norfolk most of her life. She 
was a member of First Presbyterian Church.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. William MacKenzie Jenkins; a sister, Mrs. 
Harriett Larmour Miller; a granddaughter, Mrs. Edward Roane Willcox Jr., a 
grandson, William MacKenzie Jenkins Jr., all of Norfolk and two great-grandsons.
A funeral service will be conducted at the residence today at 2 p.m. by the Rev. 
Henry G. Morgan of Virginia Beach Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Elmwood 
Cemetery. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the 
Hospital Grounds Committee, Women's Auxiliary, Norfolk General Hospital.
