She was born on March 9, 1990, in the Philippines, to Frank and Josephine Manderson. She is survived by her son, Jachin Gomez; daughter, Aislah Gomez; parents, Frank and Josephine Manderson; sisters, Ebony Meeks (Wilbur) and Michelle Belgica (Alex); aunt, Eve Olszak (Paul); nephews, Sebastian Meeks and Cloud Belgica; niece, Isabella Meeks; and cousin, Tommy Olszak. Christine was the epitome of a girly girl, with a lifelong love for all things pink, white, and charming. Growing up, she adored Hello Kitty, a fondness that evolved into a refined aesthetic as she matured — her home looked like a perfectly curated Pinterest board, filled with high-end, unique trinkets that reflected her impeccable taste. While living overseas, she worked as a receptionist at a hotel in Japan, a fitting role for someone who graduated with a degree in Hotel and Resort Management from Far Eastern University in Manila, Philippines. Christine's eye for beauty extended beyond her décor; she delighted in dressing up her children, taking countless sweet photos with them, and cooking meals with love. With her flair for style and attention to detail, she easily could have been an interior designer, seamlessly blending elegance and warmth into every aspect of her life. She cherished every moment with those she loved and left an unforgettable mark on each of our hearts. Whether it was through her infectious laughter, her caring presence or the simple acts of love she showed every day, Christine made this world a better place. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, 3000 Church Street, Norfolk, VA 23504.
