Miguel Gomez, 69, husband of Carmen Gomez and son of Bernardo and Mrs. Francisca 
Gomez, a native of Santander, Spain, and a resident of this section for 40 years, 
died yesterday at 3 a.m. after a long illness.
He resided in Princess Anne County at the time of his death. Besides his wife, he 
is survived by three sons, Bernard Gomez, of Princess Anne, Robert Gomez, of 
Norfolk, and Albert Gomez, of Princess Anne; three daughters, Mrs. Barker Kannon, 
of Zebulon, N.C., Mrs. H. E. Jackson and Mrs. M. L. Pena, both of Norfolk; one 
brother, Francisco Gomez, of Comillas, Spain; one sister, Mrs. Remijla Fernandez, 
of Comillas; several grandchildren; one nephew, Antonio Fernandez, of Norfolk; and 
one niece, Mrs. Carl Moore, of Raleigh, N. C.
The body will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to St. Mary’s 
Catholic Church for services tomorrow at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s 
Cemetery. Rosary services will be held at the funeral apartments today at 7:30 
p.m.
