Norfolk - Mrs. Maggie B. Goodman of 1225 Tidewater Drive died Saturday in a 
hospital.

A native of Norfolk, she was the widow of Raleigh Goodman Sr.

Before her retirement, she was owner of Maggie’s Cafe, 1100 Church St., for 
30 years. She was a member of New Calvary Baptist Church and Priscilla Court 
292, Courts of Colanthe.

Survivors include a stepdaughter, Mrs. Rena Jones of New York; a son, 
Raleigh Goodman Jr., of Norfolk; a grandchild; three great-grandchildren and 
two great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in New Calvary Baptist Church by 
Dr. Milton A. Reid. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, with Hale Funeral 
Home in charge. The body will be in the church at 10 a.m. Tuesday. The 
family will be at her home.
