GOODMAN, Joan Juanita, of Richmond, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2011. She 
was the daughter of the late Meriwether and Lucille South Goodman. She was a 
longtime member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. She is survived by her cousins, 
Peggy McAden, Hugh B. Pleasants Jr., Charlotte P. Urbine, Edith P. Martin, Judith 
P. Batterson and James F. Pleasants. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. 
Thursday, December 8, at the Central Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 3215 Cutshaw 
Ave., with the family to receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment 
private. This obituary was originally published in the Richmond Times-Dispatch.
