NORFOLK - Mrs. Vera L. Goodman of 1511 Colon Ave. died Thursday in a local 
hospital. She was a native of Norfolk and was the wife of Willie Goodman and the 
daughter of Mrs. Hattie L. James.

She was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, Campostella.

Other survivors include two foster daughters, Ms. Wanda Burke and Ms. Gloria 
Burke of Norfolk; and a son, Harold Burke of Norfolk.

A funeral will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. in Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church by the 
Rev. Moses Lewis. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Metropolitan Funeral Home 
is in charge.
