Virginian Pilot July 2, 1969

Joseph Goodman of 1620 Willoughby Ave. died Tuesday in a nursing home. 
A native of Galveston, Tex., he was the husband of the late Mrs. Venus Goodman.
He was a tailor and member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Surviving are a son, Joseph Goodman Jr. of Norfolk and a sister, Louise M. 
Goodman of New Orleans.
The body was taken to Graves Funeral Home.

NORFOLK - A funeral service for Joseph Goodman will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. 
in St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Burial, with military honors, will be in St. 
Mary’s Cemetery. The family will assemble at the funeral chapel.
The Rosary will be recited Friday at 8 p.m. in the church.
