He was a native and lifelong resident of Berkley, son of Mrs. Mary J. Mayo Goodman and the late Joseph J. Goodman, and husband of Mrs. Mary L. Barker Goodman. He was a member of Memorial Methodist Church, Doric Lodge 44, A.F. & A. M., and Khedive Temple, Norfolk. Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by three daughters, Ruth Mary, Nancy Felton and Mary Elizabeth; one brother, W. Mac Goodman, all of Norfolk The body was removed to the Sykes Funeral Home, 124 East Berkley avenue, where funeral services will be conducted this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. Burial will be in the family plot in Magnolia Cemetery.
