Norfolk Virginian Pilot Monday April 28, 1952


Mrs. Evelyn Goodson, widow of Benjamin F. Goodson, died at the residence of 
her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. William W. Bowers, Henderson, 
N.C., Saturday at 8 a.m. following a brief illness.
She was a native of Surry County, formerly a resident of Norfolk for many 
years and had resided in Henderson for a number of years prior to her death.
She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. William W. Bowers, of Henderson; a 
grandson, William W. Bowers, Jr., of Alabama, and two great granddaughters.
Funeral services will be conducted in Henderson today at 11 a.m. and 
committal services will be conducted in Elmwood Cemetery at 4 p.m.
