NORFOLK — Andrew Jackson Goodson, 73, of 3649 Henrico Street, husband of the 
late Mrs. Mary Quackenbush Goodson and a son of George W. and Mrs. Frances 
Trummell Goodson, died Tuesday in an El Cajon, Calif, hospital.
A lifelong resident of Norfolk, he had been in El Cajon two months.
He was a member of Norview Baptist Church and Butler Bible Class.
He was the owner of Brewer Street Market and New City Market in Norfolk.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Mary Samples, and a son, Luther J. Goodson, 
both of El Cajon; a sister, Mrs. Louise Martin of Norfolk; a brother, the Rev. 
George W. Goodson of Weslaco, Tex.; and three grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Sunday at 2 p.m. 
by the Rev. Raleigh 0. Baker Jr. of Norview Baptist Church. Burial will be in 
Elmwood Cemetery.
