Virginian-Pilot March 28, 1942
Benjamin F. Goodson, aged 70, husband of Mrs. Evelyn M. Goodson, died yesterday 
morning at Richmond. Mr. Goodson was a native of Norfolk County, a former resident 
of Norfolk and had resided in Richmond for the past 20 years. Besides his wife, he 
is survived by a daughter, Mrs. William W. Bowers, and a grandson, William W. 
Bowers, III, both of Richmond. The body will arrive in Norfolk via the Chesapeake 
& Ohio Railway Monday morning at 11:30 o'clock and be taken to Elmwood Cemetery 
for services at the grave Monday afternoon at 12:15 o'clock.
