Funeral services for William S. Goodwin, 908 Atlantic street, South Norfolk,
were held Sunday, Dec. 2, at the Mother Church of God in Christ with the Rev.
Melvin Clark officiating.

Mr. Goodwin is survived by his widow, Mrs. Maggie O. Goodwin;  three sons,
Edward J. Goodwin, Steven C. Goodwin and Elmo B. Goodwin;  six daughters,
Mesdames Marie V. Harper; Louvenia M. Brooks;  Adeline Brown;  Beulah Coleman; 
Doris Sheppard;  and Georgia Wilson;  ten grandchildren and two
great-grandchildren;  two sisters, Mrs. Lucy Green, Norfolk; and Mrs. Laura
Coleman, New York City.

Burial was in Calvary cemetery with the Chatman Funeral Home in charge of
arrangements.
