Virginian Pilot Wednesday May 24, 1922

Miss Bettie M. Goodwin daughter of the late William and Mrs. Arinthia W. 
Goodwin, died at 11:30 o’clock yesterday morning at the residence of her 
cousin, Rev. M.S. Colonna, 813 Washington Street. 
Miss Goodwin was a former resident of Norfolk. For the past ten years, 
however, she had made her home in Boykins, Va. She came here about four weeks 
ago to visit her cousin. She was taken ill and sank gradually.
Miss Goodwin was a member of Boykins Methodist Church.
The funeral service will be conducted in the residence at 11 o’clock tomorrow 
morning. Burial will take place in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk.
