Junius A. Goodwyn and Mrs. Eugenia Field Goodwyn, a native of Warren County, N.C., and a resident of Norfolk for the past 40 years, died at the residence, 921 Westover Avenue, Thursday at 7 p.m. She was a member of Christ and St. Luke's Episcopal Church and was active in church work in her earlier years. She was also a member of Great Bridge Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, and Pickett-Buchanan Chapter, United Daughters of the Confederacy, having held offices in both organizations for a number of years. Surviving her are one sister, Miss Bettie M. Goodwyn, of Norfolk; two brothers, E. Ashton Goodwyn, of Norfolk, and George F. Goodwyn, of Cheraw, S.C.; one nephew, Charles A. Goodwyn, of Norfolk, and one niece, Mrs. W. D. Troxell, of Culpepper. The body was taken to the H. D Oliver Funeral Apartments, where services will be held today at noon, by the Rev. Peyton R. Williams, rector of Christ and St. Luke's Church. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
