Virginian-Pilot April 22, 1947
Julius A. Goodwyn, Jr. — Funeral services for Mr. Goodwyn, who died Saturday 
morning at his residence, 921 Westover Avenue, were held at the chapel of the H. 
D. Oliver Funeral Apartments yesterday at 3:30 p.m., with the Rev. M. Colgate 
Daughtrey, locum tenens of Christ and St. Luke's Church, officiating. Interment 
was in Elmwood Cemetery. Pallbearers were Dr. Wilson E. Driver, Sr., Frank Cooke, 
Sr., J. Edward Cole, Claude Walker, F. A. Roethke and C. E. Rudolphi.
