Mrs. Isadora Satterfield Goomes, a native of Norfolk, died June 6 in New York
City. Final rites were held at Graves Funeral Home, Norfolk, June 11 with the
Rev. O. W. McInnis, pastor of First Church of Christ, officiating.

Mrs. Goomes, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Satterfield, lived in
New York City more than 40 years. The body was accompanied back to Norfolk by
Mrs. Lillie S. Custus of Norfolk, Mrs. Marion C. Henderson, a niece.

Mrs. Goomes is survived by her husband I. Goomes; three sisters, Mrs. Lilllie S.
Custus of Norfolk, Mrs. Ethel S. Jefferson and Mrs. Hoyt; a brother, Fred
Satterfield of New York, and several nieces and nephews.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
