Today, while all of Norfolk is rejoicing in the birth of a glorious new year, the earthly remains of the luckless young man will be consigned to an eternal resting place beneath the sod. Cherokee Tribe of Red Men, of which lodge Gordon was a member, made unsuccessful efforts to learn the whereabouts of the relatives and intimate friends of the deceased. This afternoon the body of the machinist will be buried at Elmwood cemetery. The funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Edward P. Miner, assistant rector of St. Luke's Episcopal church, and will be attended by a delegation of Red Men.
