Gordon, died yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in an local hospital. She had been a resident of Portsmouth prior to a short time ago when she moved to Suffolk. Mrs. Gordon was a daughter of Henry R. and Mrs. Frances Gorman Cherry, of this city. Besides her husband she is survived by the following brothers and sisters, Mrs. Thomas Morris, of Statesville, N.C.; Mrs. Lora Wallace, Nonie Cherry, Theodore, William, Henry and Paul Cherry, all of Portsmouth. The body was conveyed in the residence of Mrs. Gordon's parents, 200 Randolph Street. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. ****************** GORDON - In a local hospital, Portsmouth, Va., on Friday, August 8, 1924, at 2:30 o'clock p.m., MRS. BLANCHE ANN GORDON, wife of R.F. Gordon and daughter of Henry R. and Mrs. Frances Gorman Cherry, aged 17 years 6 months and 28 days. Funeral services will be conducted THIS (Sunday) AFTERNOON at 4:30 o'clock in the residence, 200 Randolph street. Friends of the family are invited. Interment in Magnolia Cemetery, Berkley.
