Robert H. Gordon

Funeral services for Mr. Gordon were conducted yesterday at noon at Eastern 
Shore Chapel, Princess Anne County by the Rev. J. C. Cornick, The Rev. John E. 
Wales, and the Rt. Rev. Beverly D. Tucker, D. D., bishop of the diocese of 
Southern Virginia. During the services Mrs. Robert Carnegie sang “Nearer My 
Father’s Home” and “Peace Peace Peace” with Mrs. Ashton Goodwyn, accompanist. 
Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk. 

Honorary pallbearers were W. G. Avery, A.S. Gornto, and S.S. Gresham. Judge 
B.D. White, Dr. T. L. Brooks, C.E. Herbert, W. J. Bonney, S. W. James, E.A. 
Goodwin, C.T. Ingram, F. M. McCullough, W.H. Brock, A.S. Woodhouse, E. J. 
Smith, J.H. Carroll, , A.W. Brock, Joseph H. Baker, Charles Borum and DR. 
Robert Woodhouse.
