Norfolk Journal and Guide,Saturday,March 31,1962
Joshua Gordon, 74, of 1709 Selden avenue, who died Monday in a Burkesville
hospital, will receive final rites Sunday at 2 p.m. at Campostella First Baptist
Church.

The Rev. R. L. Harris will officiate at the service.  Burial will be in Mt.
Olive Cemetery under direction of Citizens Funeral Home.  He was a native of
Norfolk.

Mr. Gordon was the son of the late Rev. Miles Gordon and Mrs. Catherine Gordon.

He was a member of Campostella First Baptist and was an Elk.

His survivors include his wife, Mrs. Johnetta Gordon;  and two sisters, Mrs.
Dorothy Hicks and Mrs. Essie Ferebee of Princess Anne County.
