Funeral services for Robert M. Gordon, 26, 822 C Avenue, who died at his home
December 20, were held at Hale's Chapel December 23. The Rev. P. P. Eaton of
Mount Carmel Baptist Church, officiated. Born in Elizabeth City, NC, Mr. Gordon
had lived here 23 years. A number of relatives survive. Burial was in Calvary
Cemetery.
