The Virginian Pilot and Norfolk Landmark March 2, 1918


News reached Norfolk yesterday of the death at Deal Beach, N.J., of William L. 
Gordon, aged 58, Friday morning.  Mr. Gordon was ill but a short time with 
pneumonia.
He was a son of the late Dr. and Mrs. R.H. Gordon, of this city.  Surviving, 
besides his widow, are one daughter, Mrs. Harry Bard, of Pittsburgh; a brother, 
R.H. Gordon, Jr. of Oceana, Va., and a sister, Mrs. Georgie Gordon Nottingham.
The funeral will be held here and announcement will be made later of the time.
