Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, December 13, 1990 
Solomon Gore, of the 800 block of Dillion Ave., a retired packer, died Dec. 10,
1990, in a hospital.

Mr. Gore, a native of Myrtle Beach, S.C., had retired from the Norfolk Naval
Supply Center after 33 years. He was a member of St. Mary's Missionary Baptist
Church and Oceanview Masonic Lodge 325 of Myrtle Beach.

Survivors include a daughter, Bernadine Reid of Upper Marlboro, Md.; two
sisters, Retha Chesnut of Myrtle Beach and Mary Richardson of Conway, S.C.; and
a grandchild.

The funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Oakwood Chapel by the Rev.
Clifton White. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . The family will assemble at
the residence. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
