VIRGINIA BEACH - Mrs. Bertha Lee King Gorgas, 87, of 640 Greentree Drive, died 
Monday night in a hospital.
A native of Mathews County, she lived in this area many years.
She was the widow of Charles Albert Gorgas and a daughter of George Nelson and 
Mrs. Priscilla Elizabeth Foster King.
She was a Methodist.
She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Edward F. Jakeman of Virginia Beach; and a 
brother, George Nelson King Jr. of Norfolk.
A funeral service will be held in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, 
Wednesday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. William L. Asher of Thalia United Methodist 
Church, Virginia Beach. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk.
