Charles Herbert Gorman, Jr., 42, son of Charles H. Gorman and the late Mrs. 
Margaret Ridgley Gorman, died in a Norfolk Hospital yesterday at 5:25 p.m. after 
a long illness.
He was a native of Philadelphia and a resident of Boonton, N.J.
Besides his wife, Mrs. Anne Williams Gorman, daughter of the late H. L. and Mrs. 
Margaret Walsh Williams, he is survived by two sons, Charles H. Gorman, III, and 
H. Leigh Gorman, both of Boonton; his father, Charles H. Gorman, and his 
stepmother, Mrs. Marian R. Gorman, of Newton Square, Pa.; a sister, Mrs. J. S. 
Clark, of Westtown, Pa., and two brothers, H. G. Gorman, of Pottstown, Pa., and 
L. B. Gorman, of Morristown, Pa.
The body will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments Friday morning 
to the residence of John T. Callahan, 437 Connecticut Avenue, Colonial Place, 
where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. The Rev. R. Orman 
Bryant, D.D., pastor of Park Place Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will 
be in Elmwood Cemetery.
