She was residing in Copley, Ohio when she was stricken. A daughter of the late James and Annie Jennings Gorman, she was the widow of Patrick Gorman and had been a member of the St. Matthews Catholic Church in Berkley. Surviving her in addition to Mrs. Sparrow are five other daughters, Mrs. John Shelock and Mrs. Ralph Eicher, of Akron, Mrs. Mary Saylor, of Richmond, Mrs. Jennie Stewart, of Cumberland, Md. and Mrs. Rosa Brown, of Cleveland, Ohio; four sons, John, Patrick and Charles E. Gorman, of Akron and James Gorman, of Louisville, Ky.; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Corrigan, of Holland and Mrs. Anna Gorman, of Elwood, Ind.; one brother, Bartley Gorman, of Lebanon, Iowa; 16 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. A rosary service will be conducted tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. at the Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk. Mass will be celebrated at St. Matthew's Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park.
