Gorman, daughter of the late Thomas and Catherine Farren Gorman, a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk, died at 3:30 o'clock yesterday morning at a local hospital. Surviving her are two sisters, the Misses Mary and Catherine M. Gorman; two brothers, Edward J. and William J. Gorman, of Norfolk; one niece, Miss Mary D. Gorman and one nephew, Edward J. Gorman, both of Bon Air. The body will be taken from the residence, 532 Warren Crescent to Sacred Heart Catholic Church for funeral services tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. ******************************************************************************* Miss Annie C. Gorman - Funeral services for Miss Gorman, daughter of the late Thomas and Catherine Farren Gorman, whose death occurred Saturday morning, were held at 10 o’clock yesterday morning at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with the pastor, the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Thomas E. Waters, officiating. Rev. Charles Comaskey and Rev. Patrick J. Tierney were present in the sanctuary. During the service, Miss Nora Lawler sang, ”Abide With Me,” with Prof. J. Harvey Stevens, organist. There was a large attendance and many floral offerings. The casket was covered with a pall of Easter lilies, pink roses and ferns. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. The pallbearers were Charles E. Francis, Lee F. Lawler, John L. Hennelly, Emmet J. Ryan, Clinton Curtis, Henry A. McDonough, Edward F. Lawler and Dr. Francis F. Nolan. At the conclusion of the mass, Msgr. Waters paid tribute to the Christian life and character of the deceased.
