Norfolk Landmark February 13, 1896
Mr. Edward R. Gornto died yesterday morning at his home, corner Newton and Moseley 
streets, in the 87th year of his age. The funeral will take place this morning at 
11 o'clock, at the grave in Elmwood Cemetery, and will be conducted by the Rev. 
Mr. Merritt.
