Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark July 23, 1915

Benjamin Franklin Gosney, aged 69 years, died early yesterday morning at his 
home, 729 Marshall avenue, Brambleton.  He was a native of Danville, but had 
lived here 40 years, where he was well known and esteemed.  He lived in 
Berkley for 30 years.  He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Martha Alma Bradley 
of Norfolk.
The funeral services will be conducted at the residence in Brambleton this 
afternoon at 3 o'clock by Rev. F.G. Davis and the interment will be in the 
family lot in Magnolia Cemetery.
