Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - April 11, 1990

Ellen Grady, of the 1300 block of W. 27th St., died April 9, 1990, in a 
hospital.
Mrs. Grady was a native of Norfolk.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby Grady; a daughter, Darlene Williams, 
and three sons, Phillip Williams, Roosevelt Williams and Joseph Williams, 
all of Norfolk; her father, Welton Sawyer of Philadelphia; two sisters, Rosa 
McKenzie and Gladys Staton, both of Norfolk; and six brothers, Alenzo Staton 
of Newport News, Preston Staton, William White and Robert Staton, all of 
Norfolk, Howard Staton of Elizabeth City and Norris Staton of New York.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Graves Funeral Home by 
the Rev. J.L. Kearney. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Friends may join 
the family at 525 W. 34th St., Apt. 5.
