Norfolk - Mrs. Mary L. Graffey of 623 W. 28th St. died Oct 23 in her home.

A native of Elizabeth City, NC, she was a member of St. Mary’s Holy Mount 
Christian Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Vivian Highter of Norfolk; two sisters, Mrs. 
Ethel Wright of Elizabeth City; and Mrs. Leslie Hinton of Baltimore; a brother, 
Walter White of New York; and three grandchildren.

A funeral was held Oct. 26 in St. Mary’s Holy Mount Christian Church by Bishop 
Mary Johnson. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery. Hale Funeral Home had charge.
