Gramby, of 2417 Barre street, died suddenly at 5:15 p.m. July 23 in a Norfolk hospital. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. July 27, at Bank Street Baptist Church, with the Rev. J. B. Henderson, D.D. officiating. Mrs Gramby was a native of Norfolk. She was a member of the church usher board, and several fraternities. Survivors are three sons, Roland, James, and Bradford Gramby; a brother, John Spells; two aunts, Mrs. Alvania Clark and Mrs. Viola Price, two granddaughters, Alvina V. Gramby and Charmaine Maria Gramby; three daughters-in-law, Mesdames Dorothy E. Myrile, and Alvina E. Gramby, and several cousins. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery with Hale's Funeral Home in charge.
