R. Bell, 1720 Gowrie Avenue. She was the widow of A. H. Grandy and daughter of Allmond and Mrs. Mildred Fanshaw Morris. A native of Camden County, N. C., Mrs. Grandy had resided in Norfolk for 30 years and was widely known. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Margaret Seymour, of Elizabeth City, N. C.; Mrs. Bell of Norfolk; Mrs. Eva Jennings, of Portsmouth, and Mrs. Lottie M. Cox, of Baltimore; one son, C. E. Grandy, of Fentress; 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Baptist Tabernacle. Funeral services for Mrs. Grandy will be conducted at the home of Mrs. Bell tomorrow afternoon at 2 o’clock. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
