PORTSMOUTH - Bruce A. Grandy, 75, of 4612 Columbia St., died Monday at :30 p.m.
(sic) in a hospital after a long illness.
A native of Norfolk, he lived in Portsmouth nine years. He was a son of Abner W. 
and Mrs. Permelia Trafton Grandy. He was the husband of Mrs. Betty Bruce Grandy.
He was a retired from Burlington Refrigeration Express Co. of Lincoln, Neb., and 
was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church.
Besides his widow, surviving are three sons, Bruce A. Grandy of Atlanta, C. 
Wiley Grandy of Omaha, Neb., and William R. Grandy of Alliance, Neb.; and a 
sister, Mrs. Charles W. Whiting of San Antonio, Tex.
The body was taken to Snellings Funeral Home and will be cremated.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that those desiring, contribute to the 
memorial fund of Portsmouth General Hospital.
