MOBILE, Ala. — Bettie Griffin Bruce Grandy, 89, a native of Norfolk, Va., and the 
widow of Bruce Abner Grandy Sr., died Sunday in a nursing home.
She was a member of Westhaven Baptist Church in Portsmouth, Va.
Survivors include two sons, C. Wiley Grandy of Mobile and Bruce A. Grandy Jr. of 
Nashville, Tenn.; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Elmwood Cemetery by 
Dr. Paul B. Watlington Jr. Cox Funeral Home, of Norfolk, is in charge.
There will be no viewing. The family will assemble at the graveside.
