BALTIMORE — Miss Julia Selden Grandy died Tuesday in her home here. A native of 
Norfolk, she was the daughter of Dr. Charles R. and Mrs. Mabel Dickman Grandy.
A member of the Baltimore Branch of the Pen Women of America, she was the author 
of a book of poems, "Witness the Weather."
She is survived by a brother, William Selden Grandy, and her stepmother, Mrs. 
Charles R. Grandy, both of Norfolk, a niece and a nephew.
A funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday in Selden Chapel, Christ and 
St Luke's Episcopal Church. The family asked that flowers be omitted.
