GRANDY, MARY CARTER RANDOLPH — At a local hospital, Friday, July 24th, 1953, at 
10:05 p.m., MARY CARTER RANDOLPH GRANDY, wife of C. Wiley Grandy, Sr., and 
daughter of the late William Fitzhugh and Rosaline O'Fallon Randolph, in the 72nd 
year of her age. Remains will be taken from the residence, 351 Botetourt Street, 
to Christ and St. Luke's Church for funeral services MONDAY at 12 o'clock noon. 
Interment, Elmwood Cemetery. A spokesman for the family has requested that flowers 
be omitted, but those desiring to do so make an offering to Norfolk General 
Hospital instead.
