Her funeral was held at St. John A. M. E. Church, Tuesday afternoon, October 12th and was largely attended . Rev. L. L. Berry officiating. The interment took place in Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Grandy was a member of Callioux Woman’s Relief Corps of the G. A. R., a member of the Ways and Means Committee of the State Federation of Colored Women’s Club and was a most interested and active member of the Federation until her illness. Even during her illness she collected money from friends who called on her and turned over to the Ways and Means Committee. She is survived by her husband.
