Norfolk Virginian Pilot July 12, 1948
Mrs. Mary Ellen Granger, 86, widow of Fred W. Granger, died at a Norfolk hospital 
yesterday at 12:30 p.m.  She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Sarah C. 
Granger, and two grandchildren, Miss Frances West Granger and Fred Wells Granger, 
all of Norfolk and a niece, Mrs. Dean Stover, of Richmond.
Mrs. Granger was a native of Williamstown,Vt. and had been a resident of Norfolk 
for 25 years.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home tomorrow at 
11 a.m.  Burial will be in the Forest Lawn Mausoleum.
