Funeral of Mrs. Grant

The funeral for Mrs. George Catherine Grant, widow of George W Grant, will be 
held this afternoon at 2 o’clock, at the residence at Ocean View. Burial will 
be in Elmwood Cemetery.



Virginia Pilot 6/26/1921 

Mrs. George Katherine Grant, 75 years old, died at 8:30 o’clock last night at 
her home at Ocean View. Mrs. Grant, who was the widow of George W. Grant, was 
born in Princess Anne County. She had lived in Ocean View for fifteen years.

Mrs. Grant is survived by one daughter, Miss L. M. Grant; three sons, George 
W., A.T. , and C.C. Grant all of Ocean View; one sister Mrs. George F. Joyner, 
of Philadelphia, and four grandchildren.
