Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Saturday, January 1, 2000 
Ruth Eva Grant, 85, of the 3500 block of Gosnold Ave., died Dec. 29, 1999.

Ms. Grant was a native of Rich Square, N.C., born to the late Henry and Bessie
Williams Grant. She was a faithful member of Herald of His Coming COGIC.

Survivors include four sisters, Hattie Reed, Mildred Bond of Norfolk, Fannie
Brown of Portsmouth and Catherine Watson of Rich Square; two brothers, Lloyd
Grant of Aulander, N.C., and Floyd Grant of Woodland, N.C.; and a host of other
relatives and friends.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Riddick Funeral Service Chapel.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . A viewing will be held from 1 to 6 p.m.
Sunday at the funeral home. The family will receive friends at 701 W. 36th St.
