Venetia Johnson Grant, of the 7700 block of Armfield Ave., a retired photo 
technician, died May 15, 1992, in her home.

Mrs. Grant was born in Norfolk. She retired from Aufenger Studio and was a member 
of Basilica of St. Mary's of the Immaculate Conception. She was the widow of Henry 
L. Grant.

Survivors include a sister, Bertha M. Jones of Norfolk.

The funeral will be conducted at noon Tuesday in Basilica of St. Mary's of the 
Immaculate Conception by the Rev. Walter C. Barrett. Burial will be in St. Mary's 
Catholic Cemetery. Viewing will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at Riddick Funeral 
Service. Family and friends will assemble at 701 Easy St. at 11 a.m. Tuesday for 
the procession.
