Norfolk Virginian Pilot Saturday July 5, 1952
Mrs. Maude H. Swain Graves, 85, of 423 Chestnut Street, Berkley, died at a 
Norfolk hospital Friday afternoon after an illness of one year.  She was the 
daughter of the late Thomas E. and Mary Herbert Swain and the wife of the late 
Ernest H. Graves.
She is survived by three cousins, Mrs. Mary Burke, Miss Louise Herbert and 
Mrs. Lydia Diehl, all of Norfolk.
The body was removed to the Sykes Funeral Home in Berkley.  Funeral Services 
will be conducted in St. Bride's Episcopal Church, Berkley, Sunday at 3 p.m.  
Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
