Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - January 19, 1992

Mary Graves, of the 1300 block of Lafayette Blvd., died Jan. 15, 1992, in a 
hospital.
Mrs. Graves was born in Bertie County, N.C. She was a member of Spellers 
Chapel Church of Christ Disciples.
Survivors include a son, George Graves, and a sister, Sallie Biggs, both of 
Norfolk; four brothers, George Cherry, the Rev. James Cherry and Joseph 
Cherry, all of Norfolk, and Cleveland Cherry of Petersburg; five 
grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Graves Funeral Home by 
the Rev. J.L. Kearney. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. The family will 
assemble at the funeral home on Tuesday.
