York St., secretary of Southern Engraving Co. and a former advertising manager of Ames & Brownley Inc., died Thursday in a hospital. A lifelong resident of Norfolk, he was a son of Eugene Lee and Mrs. Elizabeth Roberts Graves. He attended Columbia University School of Journalism and formerly worked in the advertising departments of The Virginian-Pilot in Norfolk, the News Herald in Suffolk, and the Daily Press in Newport News. He was a member of Freemason Street Baptist Church, Virginia Press Association and Norfolk Rotary Club. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Rudolph Mason of Columbia, S.C.; a sister, Mrs. Hamilton Plack of Norfolk; a brother, Leonard Roberts Graves of Richmond; and four grandchildren. The body was taken to H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments. A funeral service will be held Monday at noon in Elmwood Cemetery.
