Graves, Sr., a well known and highly respected citizen, died yesterday morning at 9:45 o'clock at his residence, on Main Street, after a long illness, aged 71 years. He leaves eight children, six sons and two daughters, as follows: Messrs. E.A., D.A. Jr., J.P., H.L., W.H., Edward and Mrs. George V. Dashiell and Miss Daisy Graves. The deceased was a Pythian, and a charter member of Lee Lodge. He was a past commander and district deputy for the lodge until his death. He was a prominent man in business circles and had served for several years on the Town Council. The obsequies will be conducted from his late residence Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock. The interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery. The members of Lee Lodge will attend the funeral in a body to pay the last sad tribute of respect to their deceased brother.
