Graves died very unexpectedly at the home of his daughter, Mrs. D.W. Snow, No. 104 Holt street, at 8 o'clock a.m. yesterday in the 68th year of his age. He had been sick at his home for a month, but was able to be up and down-stairs just before his demise. He passed away very suddenly; his death being a shock to his children. The deceased was a carpenter by vocation and had resided in Norfolk 30 years. The funeral will be held from 104 Holt street Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock and will be conducted by Rev. George Wesley Jones and A.J. Ramsey. The interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery, Berkley Ward.
