Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Tuesday, February 25, 1992 
Nannie Gray of the 1100 block of Holt St., a retired dietitian, died Feb. 23,
1992, in a hospital.

Mrs. Gray was born in Pittsboro, N.C. She had retired from the Norfolk public
schools after 20 years. She was a member of Queen Street Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Warren Gray of Norfolk and Nathan Gray of New York
City; three sisters, Alene Hanner of Bear Creek, N.C., and Irene D. Headen and
Josephine M. Emmerson, both of Siler City, N.C.; a brother, Ernest Dorsett of
Norfolk; and four grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Queen Street Baptist Church
by the Rev. Peter Wherry. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Friends may join
the family at the residence. The body will be placed in the church at 10 a.m.
Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
