Norfolk-Mrs. Annie May Scott Gray, 94, widow of Walter Gray and daughter of 
William and Mrs. Ann Poole Scott, died Wednesday at 3:25 a.m. in her home at 
172 W. Ocean View Ave.
Mrs. Gray was born in Currituck County, N.C., lived in Norfolk 50 years.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ethel G. Lewis and Mrs. Junius A. 
Coleman of Norfolk; a son. Carroll B. Gray of Teasley; two granddaughters, 
Mrs. T. A. Barham and Mrs. Junius A. Coleman Jr. of Norfolk; and seven step-
grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments Friday at 
noon by the Rev. Gordon L. Keller of Park Place Baptist Church. Burial will 
be in Elmwood Cemetery.
